Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026
Introduction
This privacy policy applies to the Paperdis mobile app (io.eranya.notaku) published by Eranya Digital ("we", "us"). Paperdis — Create quotes, invoices, sales notes, and receipts on your phone, send them over WhatsApp, and keep track of who still owes you.
This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. By using Paperdis you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
Paperdis does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or contacts.
Diagnostics and usage data
- Usage analytics: anonymous events such as screens viewed and features used, to understand how the app is used and improve it.
- Crash reports: device model, OS version, and technical stack traces when the app crashes, so we can fix bugs. Crash reports do not include your personal content.
Device Permissions
Paperdis requests the following permissions, and only for the reasons stated:
- Microphone: Optional. Lets you dictate a quote, invoice, or receipt instead of typing it. Every field can also be filled in by hand, so the app is fully usable with this permission denied.
- Speech recognition (iOS): Turns what you dictate into the text of a draft document. Paperdis uses your device's own speech recogniser and never records or stores audio itself.
- Photos / media access: So you can add your business logo to your documents and attach a photo of a transfer receipt to a payment. Images you pick are copied into the app's own storage and are never uploaded.
Your business data never leaves your device
Everything you build in Paperdis — your clients, quotes, invoices, sales notes, receipts, line items, payments, and totals — is written to a database on your device and nowhere else. It is not uploaded to Eranya Digital, not backed up to our servers, and not visible to us. The logo and transfer-proof photos you attach are copied into the app's own storage and stay there too.
There is no account to create
Paperdis works fully offline from the moment you install it: no sign-up, no email address, no password. The app does register an anonymous Firebase identity in the background — a random identifier with no name, email, or contact details attached — used only so that crash reports and usage statistics from one installation stay coherent. Uninstalling the app discards it.
How voice input works
When you dictate a document, Paperdis hands the audio to your device's own speech recogniser — the same one behind your keyboard's dictation button — and receives text back. Paperdis itself never records, stores, or transmits audio. Be aware that on Android the system recogniser may send that audio to Google's speech service in order to transcribe it; that processing is governed by Google's privacy policy and your device settings, not by Paperdis.
AI parsing is switched off
Paperdis ships with its AI command parser disabled. While it is off, nothing you dictate or type is sent anywhere to be interpreted — the app turns your words into a draft using rules that run entirely on your device. If we enable the AI path in a future release, the transcript text alone — never the audio, and never your client list or document history — would be sent to Google's Gemini API to be turned into a draft. We will update this page and our Play Data Safety declaration before that happens.
Performance & diagnostics
Alongside crash reports and anonymous usage analytics, Paperdis uses Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure app speed and stability, for example screen-load timings. This data is technical, is not used to identify you, and never includes the contents of your documents.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the app's features
- To fix bugs and improve stability and performance
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
Paperdis uses the following third-party services, which process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics for Firebase: Anonymous usage statistics (screens viewed, feature usage). Privacy policy
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Crash reports and diagnostics so we can fix bugs. Privacy policy
Data Retention & Deletion
Your settings and app data are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app. Crash and diagnostic data is retained for up to 90 days.
Security
Data transmitted by the app uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Children's Privacy
Paperdis is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at hello@eranya.digital and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
