Delete Your Hirup Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Hirup account (io.eranya.hirup) and the data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

Hirup does not yet have an in-app deletion button, but you can request deletion at any time and we will complete it within 30 days:

1. Email hello@eranya.digital with the subject "Delete my Hirup account".
2. Send the email from the address you use to sign in to Hirup (or include it in the message), so we can verify the account is yours.
3. We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete — usually within a few business days, and always within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Account identifiers (user ID; plus email and display name if you sign in with Email, Google, or Apple)
• Your saved locations — name and approximate coordinates — synced to your account
• Your sign-in credentials (Email & password, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Anonymous (guest))

Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

What may be retained

• Anonymous crash and diagnostic data already collected, which is not linked to your deleted account and expires within 90 days.
• Records we are legally required to keep (for example, correspondence about your deletion request), retained only as long as the law requires.

Email hello@eranya.digital and tell us which data you want removed (for example, your synced content) — we can delete specific data without closing your account.
